In this innovative program, children create their amazing story using imagination and creativity in the Junior Storyteller Mentoring Program. In the program, the Junior Storyteller will work 1-on-1 with published children’s author, Johns Hopkins Literacy Consultant and award-winning Social Education Expert, Rae Chesny. Through the course of 6 30-minute sessions, Rae will share her process for creating her own stories, which have been enjoyed by more than 5,000 children around the world, from Detroit all the way to Ghana. Once Junior Storytellers have learned the story writing process, they will be all set to write many stories of their own. The experience also includes the unique opportunity to ask Rae questions about author life and more.
